identity work
Identity work is one of the cornerstones of graphic design as it is recognised as a profession. Under this banner you’ll find logo and pattern making, the development of identity guidelines and manuals, systems for way-finding—be it experiential, non-visual, screen-based or whatever else way finding and similar demarcations become helpful... you even find marketing and branding 😱. Identity work also brings together many design disciplines such as typeface design, textile design, publication design, art direction and more—working collaboratively to complete a cohesive picture of an entity’s unique identity.
Over time Michael has been involved with and/or completed a number of identity-related projects, some of which you can view below. Tip: Click any image to expand slideshow. Hover over an image to pause.
